On February 26, 2012 Trayvon Martin was shot dead after walking home from the store with just a bag of skittles and an iced tea. A neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman reported back to the police that Trayvon looked like he was up to something, and stated harsh comments like “ F****** Coons; and “They always get away”. After being told not to follow Trayvon, Zimmerman does anyway, and witnesses say they heard screaming, then a gun shot, then silence. There has been talk that instead of Trayvon screaming help, that it was really Zimmerman shouting. There have been witnesses that said they wanted the police to call them to hear what they got to say, but no phone calls have been made yet. Some say that the police are protecting George Zimmerman and no one knows why. Since the shooting people from each borough, town, race, and even celebrities felt the pain for this 17 year old boy and family and wants Zimmerman locked up for what he has done. Churches and even congressmen supported Trayvon by having iced tea, skittles, or/and having a hoodie on to show that this kid was harmless. Still this man George Zimmerman walks free; maybe there is another story. There has been talk that Trayvon been suspended from the school recently before his death for having a small bag of marijuana. Soon the truth about this story of Trayvon Martin will be revealed and justice shall take its place.
